Following is my Voter ID story:
In 2016 b4 the election we moved from Kitsap Co to Pierce Co in the commie state of WA. We wanted to make sure we could vote (even though we knew our votes likely would not make a difference as 90% of our candidates never win). We found that we could go online to change our voter registration address and did that at the beginning of moving our stuff leisurely over the month of September.
We found that registration required no id. You just attested to your new address and then the big surprise came. It asked you what address you wanted your ballot mailed to if different than your new registered address. The website listed not only all the states but what appeared to be most countries in the world. It appeared that all you had to do is attest that the information was correct and you could have your ballot mailed anywhere. It did tell you there could be up to $10,000 fine for false info.
At the end of the move we had some old fertilizer and pesticides that we wanted to dispose of so we took them to the Pierce county Recycling Center. To my surprise, the worker asked for me to show ID as they only took recycling from Pierce Co residents. I had not changed addresses on my drivers license yet but I had received my new voter registration card so I happily pulled it out to show to the worker. To my surprise he said the voter registration could be fake and are not acceptable ID!

So in Washington state anyone (exampled group that conducts voter registration drives) can keep the registration form, then go online, and re-register the person who signed up during a voter registration drive (homeless etc.), have the ballot sent to a designated address (PO box, business address), and then fill out multiple ballots and send them in?
Yet you can’t go to the dump without a valid ID.
Not surprised.
