The opening monolog was weird, but this screen capture from later is even weirder:
TL;DR version. Tom Hanks wasn't really on Saturday Night Live. They used another actor and did a CGI face swap like they did with Peter Cushing in Rogue One. Hanks' brother sounds a lot like him, and did some of Sheriff Woody's voice over work in Toy Story, and the face and neck don't line up properly in some of the initial monolog, + look at the hand age difference between previous photos of Hanks and the screen capture.
So,
1. Fake a Tom Hanks appearance
2. ?
3. Profit
Only reason to do this is if Tom's not available. Why isn't Tom available?
