POTUS has mentioned that The President of the US has the power. He is referring to the office of the President. Not himself. The press can't grasp the concept that President Trump is restoring the role of the President to it's original intent.

Plus he's driving the point home that the States have responsibilities and that they cannot continue to rely on the federal government. He is amazing to watch.
