A constant refrain of morbid stories will do that to people — especially with the forced isolation. “Medical-student-syndrome” (MSS) is known to affect medical students, who come to believe that they have symptoms of whatever malady they’re studying at the moment. Now, we’re all at risk for MSS. I’m going to go out and do some yard work now, to avoid catching MSS.
Regardless, IMHO, your Mom is wise to take every precaution — up to the point that it causes mental distress. You might consider buying her one of those UVc lightboxes that she could use for her mail, and other small items. If nothing else, it might provide her with some peace of mind.
Yeah she will just think those UV lightboxes will cause cancer LOL she wont touch it..I checked my temp its normal, heck its below normal(97.6) hers is the same. With me I get achy bones but I think its due to the Vitamin D 50,000 that I take once a week(Im Vitamin D deficient) with my Mom its ALL paranoia, she did everything right but she still thinks she will get it from the mail.
