I remember when Mount Pinatabu (spelled incorrectly probably) erupted and I could see the fine ash in the upper stratosphere at sunset in Tarzana California. We had some heavy rain that year as well. I can only imagine what a monster volcano would do. The little politicians would probably use that incident as another public shutdown.
I was in the Bay Area when Pinatubo went off, but I don’t recall any ash from it. Rn
