Meet Squidgey. As a tiny kitten in 2008, she was severely burned and came close to not surviving. But she was rescued and 12 years later is thriving with her family.
Video 6 minutes, 19 seconds
WARNING: For those sensitive souls, the video does feature her permanent burns to her face, so it might be unsettling to see.
*daily cat/kitten video ping*
If you want on or off the ping list, please let me know.
Do note the warning I put on the video.
While I appreciate the endings of these videos, the initial suffering of these poor animals is just too much for me to take anymore........Please remove me from your ping list......(sadly)
I love calico cats. I have had several and each one had a wonderful personality.
OK. I ride the fence with posting some of these. They’re ultimately uplifting, but upsetting as well.
I’ll give you this parting gift of a video, which features 100% cuteness and no suffering whatsoever...

My heart breaks watching some of the cruelty to these precious creatures.
Keep me on the ping list but please have more cute videos.
OK. Try post #5 for a palate cleanser.
So cute!! Thank you!!
I'm OK with them so you can keep me on your list as long as you don't ping me to the videos which show suffering..........thanks
Cats have staff.
Not to seem insensitive, but compared to what I’ve seen the Chinese do to animals, this cat go off easy.
OK.
Yes, some people just do horrible things to animals.
In this case, I don’t know if she was accidentally or deliberately harmed.
It survived being Cooked Alive at the Wuhan Wet Market?
Gotta love those Chinese. Humanity isn’t their strong suit.
