With all due respect, Lombardi is a blowhard who learned nothing while working in the Patriots front office.

His takes are often wrong, and often ridiculous. Grain of salt.

Lombardi is probably working for a team that wants Tua to fall to them in the draft.

Any problems teams will have about drafting players with past injuries can be partially blamed on Doo Doo Clowney. In the “old days” if a player was even rumored to have an injury, his draft stock could seriously go down or even be eliminated. But then came modern sports medicine and strength and conditioning training. Was working well until Doo Doo was drafted and part of the reason he was a bust was due to poor performance from previous injuries. I hope teams don’t go back to the way it used to be but I’m sure they’re gong to look harder at a player’s health.
