Smithfield Foods idles Sioux Falls plant amid coronavirus concerns (4/13/20)
4-5% of pork production. How much will pork go up at the grocery store today? 20-30%? Smtihfield’s has several other Plants.
Good thing I stocked up on all of those pork chops, bacon and country sausage, a couple of month ago.
They are vacuum packed, in the freezer.
Hopefully, the plants get back up to speed, soon.
