nobody’s sure. There were only a few papers. But the tingling/hypersensitivity reminds me offhand of allodynia
or even fibromyalgia or shingles - hypersensitivity of nerve endings but no rash. And nerve endings are cns. Allergic reaction to something in the virus?

I would freak out if my skin was ‘buzzing’. I can’t imagine - or rather, don’t even want to imagine!

Isn’t central nervous system only the brain and spinal cord? That’s why I was confused. It might be through the blood but affect the nerves, not through the CNS.
