“Social distancing” isn’t the only game in town.
For a clear example, widespread use of personal masks could be expected to do a better job of lowering the R0.
And let the economy go on- without any medical advances.
Though medical advances are what I expect.
“To a hammer everything looks like a nail.”... That’s how many are looking at “social distancing” and what we should do. It’s not right.
But I think there must be practical reasons that letting the “not at risk” get infected while protecting the “at risk”. won’t work or we’d have tried it.
