Let's just say for a sec, that this is a bio-weapon attack and you are the attacker. What would be some other actions, besides secretly deploying the virus to strategic locations inside the enemy's country you could take?
Might an effort to create division among the population you were attacking be helpful? Would creating confusion also make your attack more devestating. Another might be to convince the populace is was just the flu bro. How 'bout convincing the populace protective gear wasn't really necessary?
There are a great many things an attacker could do to maximize such a weapon's effectiveness.
And even if it wasn't a planned attack, wouldn't the above still make matters worse? Are our enemies so honorable that they'd never ever consider taking advantage of our current situation?
Think about the above the next time you hear someone say, "It's just the flu bro!"

I tend to stay away from these discussions to focus on numbers, but there are so many “events” that almost appear planned... the funerals in south Ga, the biogen conference, The church services (so manY at the same time) the Germany conference, the skiers in France and Colorado, and the NY lawyer (and of course the many MANY stories we heard of people intentionally trying to infect others)... there are so many stories of the super spreader... and every single one happens where the more severe outbreaks have occurred.
For Example, HOW, in God’s green earth do we have 2,200 nursing home infections in the US? I get a few, but how did the other thousands end up with the same. It is as if they were all seeded SIMULTANEOUSLY. There are other church, funeral, conference, cruise, prison, sports and other large gatherings that all seem to spring up at the same time, not spread region to region like you’d expect.
OK, tinfoil off. Lots of questions surrounding this in my mind. I don’t spend a lot of time on this because we will never know, but I have some theories tucked away in the back of my mind.
This initial release, assuming bioweapon, had to be accidental. Why on earth do what they did to Wuhan ? It they intended to release a bioweapon why not in the US near a US Bio Research facility ?
We got good data from China for about 2 to 3 weeks. First complete genome and everything. Then it all changed and research and data release was shutdown. At that point they decided to game the deck of cards they had. So now we are in a biowarfare scenario until the Chinese come clean.
