IMO - Adding to disinfect the knobs and buttons on your washer and dryer. Also, the light switch. Hold the germy clothes away from you, keep them off the floor, don’t shake them and don’t put them in a laundry basket. Wash them separate from other clothing.
Why would anyone put germy clothes in a laundry basket? That’s just something else to worry with. Go directly to the washer. Don’t pass Go. Don’t collect $200.
Since DH is outside in the camper, he has been putting his clothes inside a dark plastic bin and putting it in the sun. Twice a week he comes in with mask and gloves, and puts them in the wash. After its done washing, I wipe all the knobs, washer handle, light switches, etc, and put everything in the dryer, then leave it back outside for him.
Thats our system. He wants to limit how much he comes inside, so its working out ok so far.
