There has ALWAYS been a cardiac and intestinal aspect to this drug. That’s been known for years.
It’s not a huge number of people in the gen pop...but since those things are co-morbidities for this disease, they represent a larger part of the targeted co-hort.

People should understand what the medicines we inject can do to us. There are a ton of Freepers who have undiagnosed heart disease. I would caution anyone from just starting a prescription medication without understanding what it could do for you.
While this is serious, the hysterical "crisis" response to it is man made.
Since the majority of people have clearly demonstrated they will passively give up liberties if the government tells them they must because of a "crisis", we can now be assured of more "crises" to come. Many more. One or more of which will require the surrender of firearms.

No. Legitimate concern, but shouldn't stop use of hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine - and it isn't. Chloroquine happens to be one of the drugs, among many, that can prolong the QT interval on an ECG. That sets you up for an arrhythmia called Torsades de pointes. It just needs to be monitored (with ECGs) while taking the drug.
