Opening day of the General Trout Fishing season here where I live in the Eastern Sierra of California is huge. Thousands of fishermen and tourists come here to catch the big one. It is normally the last Saturday of April. The economy of the entire area is supported by the Trout fishing season April to November.
Nothing is open for the LA Folks. 395 from Lone Pine to the Nevada Border is a ghost town. Inyo, Mono and Alpine Counties don’t want no folks and there will be no fish stocked.
