I firmly believe that most severe cases of Covid-19 are caused by people being in subclinical vitamin and mineral deficiency. Vitamin D, C, Pantothenic Acid; A, zinc, boron, among others. Then they are hit with this nasty virus and get sick or very sick. Therefore I recommend immediately upping your intake of critical nutrients to fortify your immune system.
Mid-Atlantic areas are reporting that the rate of deaths for blacks and Latinos is higher that for whites. That makes sense because not only are blacks and Latinos more likely to be low income and living in “food deserts”, but their darker skin means they absorb less Vitamin D from sun exposure. Therefore I recommend that all darker skinned people take 5,000 IU of Vitamin D daily unless they are getting a lot of sun exposure on large areas of skin that is not washed for 6 hours after exposure. D is formed in oils on skin and then absorbed into the body over time. No oils no D.
On a separate note, it seems people who don’t have washer/dryers in their dwelling unit are suffering from a serious dirty laundry dilemma. Here are thoughts, solutions, and commiserations about this issue.

Ugh....I hadn’t even thought about peeps who have to share washers.
Scary.

I think you have a very very valid point. There has been articles about zinc limiting the virus reproduction rate. I have been taking C with Zinc since the outbreak.
The allergies have not been as bad this year for me, makes me wonder if C with zinc is helping in that area too.
