Aren’t people in the field supposed to think dispassionately about biological matter disgusting to 99.9999% of civilians as fascinating samples rich with material for further scientific study? As in - I see a barf-worthy Big Mac-sized wad of greenish yellow loogie, but they see the possible basis for new drugs and vaccines?
