For the general population masks mainly are effective when worn by infected persons.
If all wear them then we catch those that are infected whether they don’t. know it. or do know but don’t want to be. stigmatized.

The article makes a pretty good case for them being effective for those not infected also. Seemed like common sense and made it frustrating to hear the ‘experts’ say the same thing you did.

If they prevent an infected person from releasing viruses, why would they not prevent an uninfected person from taking in those viruses?
