He didn't get tricked. 95% of people in Washington and associated with government are liberals. The same for those involved with charities and nonprofits. Liberals have to do something to keep themselves busy and they don't want to do real work. They prefer ego stroking positions.
He has done pretty well dealing with that crowd and he is getting better every day.
Trump does not suffer fools or the deceitful lightly, I suspect the Coronavirus briefings will change significantly beginning next week ...
