A funny story about that method of temperature checking. They were doing this at a nursing home on a cold day. It was in the 20’s. They could not figure out why everyone’s temperature was so low(by several degrees). The person doing the scan wondered if his his scanner was inaccurate. DUH. that method is far from accurate.
