There have already been a few threads on this. Many of us know it as heart worm medication. Humans sometimes take it too, at a rate of 200 micrograms per kilogram. I played with the calculations and figured that one tube of horse treatment, meant for a 1250 lb horse, could treat about 6 humans.

Problem is, we dont know what dose it would take to create the concentration in human tissue needed to achieve the desired result. I read a paper where they used a 5 micromolar concentration in vitro. My crappy back of the envelope calculations led me to a resulting does of about 4000 micrograms per kilogram, but thats probably wrong.

Interesting stuff, humans can tolerate quite a lot of it, I read where doses of 2000 micrograms per kilogram have been used in humans.
