I didn't particularly like the book, which I read as a youngster after watching LOTS of the TV show.

I really liked Doug McClure in the role of Trampas on the TV show and just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that, in the book, he was a really bad guy ...

I actually didn’t care that much for the book, either. I thought it was always a challenge to figure out time and place of the events.
