I wonder if some states are deliberately trying to inflate the number by assigning many more deaths than actually were COV-19 - for example watch Massachusetts, hasn't reported yet, see if there is a big jump there.

Yes, as expected, Mass had a big jump 15 to 29. I’ve been watching elections long enough to expect the holdbacks from the liberal areas to tilt strongly toward the left. I’d guess there is a lot of pressure for MEs in Mass to write “Coronavirus” on the death certificates.
