By mid August? Everyone seems to have forgotten a week ago Dr Doom predicted at least 100,000 NEW deaths over the next two weeks. That means as of today there should have been 50,000 NEW deaths over the last week. Now there maybe 10,000 total.
Is no one going to hold the man who destroyed the economy accountable?

We live where the first cases and deaths in the country from this occurred. There were predictions of tens of thousands of deaths. It fizzled out about 3 weeks ago. Hospital ICUs are no longer full. You can buy toilet paper, rice, sugar, paper towels and flour again. And the death toll from pneumonia is now less than in a typical flu season. To keep the numbers up everyone who dies from any kind of respiratory illness is now counted as a presumptive “covid 29” death. Local politicos need to make sure that we get our share of the trillions in Federal $$$!

Just to keep in perspective, this “best case, low” number is worse than the worst numbers from any flu season in recent memory.

My thought is to have independent firms come into each state that shut down and run the numbers if it was worth ruining the economy. If the numbers turn out not to be worth destroying your state, i want these governors and local politicians to be held accountable.

Wishful thinking i know.
