WWE has made it clear that it is making Rob Gronkowski a big part of its plans.
Not only was Gronk named the host for WrestleMania 36, which took place over two days this weekend for the first time, but he also got involved in the competition.
After the Edge-Randy Orton match, Mojo Rawley ran into the ring and was chased by a bunch of a wrestlers. Out of nowhere, Gronk jumped on top of the pile and pinned Rawley to win the 247 Championship.

At least somebody’s having fun... These lock-downs are getting tiresome.
Yes indeed. Choreographing these entertainment events (with admittedly Genuine Athletes) must be getting tiresome
I watched a couple of clips and it’s very strange watching wrestling without any fans.

I hope the performers maintained social distancing. I’d like to see this pinfall while six feet apart from each other. /s
Notice they didn’t come to my town. Neither does Chuck Norris. Just sayin’. :-)
I missed that one and man am I pissed about it! Who won?
Now I’m really pissed after seeing Edge won ... dang it, I so wanted to see that match more than any other.
And Professional Wrestling is so REAL!!!!!
HONEST!!!!!!!!
I tried to watch the NASCAR i-Racing (all the drivers virtual racing from their homes). Lasted about 15 minutes until the novelty wore off and moved on to another channel.
I was first exposed to this fake crap in the early ‘50s when the stars were Yukon Erik and Gorgeous George. Couldn’t stand it then either.
I don’t think anyone over the age of 10 believes its real, they long ago admitted its not.... but I do know this...
I sure wouldn’t want to do what they do to their bodies 300+ nights a year.
I don’t know, without a crowd to react to it, any entertainment event is an odd thing to watch...
I once walked by Chief Jay Strongbow at my local NH grocery store. He was huge. (One of my several brushes with greatness)
Yep...I remember them...Also Andre, the Giant, Sam Steamboat...
In the early ‘70’s, I worked in the pit crew for Elmo Langley, NASCAR driver...Homer O’Dell and Lucky Roberts were friends of Elmo’s and came to a few races...
