If you didn’t file your 2019 or 2018 taxes AND get a refund via direct deposit, don’t hold your breath on how soon you will get a check. Also if you changed bank accounts since you filed and received a refund via direct deposit, don’t hold your breath on the IRS getting a website up and running for adding or updating your direct deposit information. Same with an address change although perhaps would be forwarded depending how long ago you moved and if the USPS is still forwarding mail. But if and when they do get a website for updating DD or address, the window of time between when you will have access to update and how soon that data will make it to the master file and when they have to start pulling data from the masterfile for printing checks is going to be incredibly tight.

I don’t care what Mnuchin says, 2 weeks is not realistic.

Whether you filed in in 2018, or not, I'd bet you will be getting a check. 2019 tax filing deadline has been pushed back for a few months.

If you get a SS check, you'll be getting a $1,200 check whether you filed a 1040 form, or not. I expect mine to be deposited in the next 2-3 weeks along with my regular SS check. My wife will be getting one, too. Our plan is to spread it around to small businesses and restaurants; and, to make a an added generous contribution to our church.
