David Wilkerson was known to always be correct concerning his prophetic words.
David Wilkerson, Pastor and prophet of Times Square Church in New York City, was a voice that many prophetic people respected for his accuracy, he was known to always be correct concerning his prophetic words, and now we are seeing the fulfillment of his prophetic word from 1986.
In a 1986 meeting, Wilkerson by the Holy Spirit, prophesied about a coming plague which will force the Church, government and bars to shut down. And this is exactly what is happening all around the world currently, as many religious groups have shut their doors to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus which has already claimed thousands of lives, and affected hundreds of thousands others.

Wilkerson is NOT a prophet. The Biblical test of the Prophet is 100% accuracy, and Wilkerson has been wrong before.
A prophet speaks for God. That is why one wrong prophecy makes him a liar. God ensures everything spoken in his name in 100% accurate. One wrong prophecy means nothing he says is from God.
Documentation, please.
Im skeptical of those who call themselves prophets,; this is the only man I believed. He wrote a small booklet that opened eyes of nonbelievers. My father in law for one.
I can’t find anything about this from before a few days ago. Wilkerson’s own ministries seem to focus on a very different prophecy about destruction in NYC, and one he didn’t claim was being fulfilled on Sept 11 or the financial crash:
I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.
AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.
For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.
There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under Gods wrath
God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.
Document it.

EXCERPT...
Wilkerson urges everyone to stockpile a 30-day supply of food and other necessities to deal with the catastrophe he foresees.
“I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off,” Wilkerson concluded in his message. “I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.”
He maybe should’ve recommended 60 - 90 days stockpile.

This ‘prediction’ was made during the emergence of the Avian flu ...the specific virus was later identified as H5N1 as H5N1 in 1987. Kind of a ‘water is wet’ prediction.
David Wilkerson was a good man of God and with His Spirit, but we must pray we will see this forcing "prayerless believers into radical prayer and into their Bibles, and repentance will be the cry from the man of God in the pulpit. And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep America and the world.
If you take time to listen to the sermon in its entirity, David Wilkerson, did not prophesy a certain time. It is chilling sermon. The sermon is based on the book of ISAIAH.

In fact, he did not specify a city. Others have done that.
“In a 1986 meeting, Wilkerson by the Holy Spirit, prophesied about a coming plague which will force the Church, government and bars to shut down.”
Useless prediction if there is no date attached to it.
Doomsayers are always predicting one disaster or another. Eventually they’re all right, but they’re also useless.
I don't recall ISAIAH, MICAH, AMOS, & HOSEA having a date attached to their prophesies. Yours is a false statement.
WILKERSON has called himself a WATCHMAN, not a PROPHET.
No date setting here . . .but something to think about. http://patburt.com/ No one is guaranteed a next breath on this earth . . . coronovirus or no coronovirus. Besides, this world is not our home anyway. (Hebrews 13:14)
Seems like he should have seen that coming.
No true prophet ever put a date on anything. Many times the things they prophesied happened after they died. Your statement is false.
