Exactly. My mother died this past February in a nursing home at age 92. We knew since Christmas, she had only weeks, two or three months at best, to live. If she had contracted COVID-19 in January, she surely would have died then. And she would have been counted as a COVID-19 death statistic.

It’s almost like the musical number in Team America Everyone Has Aids. Now its every death is covid. Keifer Sutherlands mother just died but he had to specify not because of covid. She happened to be 86 and had been battling health problems for a while.
