The deaths/cases figure can be greatly affected by how much testing is done. Do they test everyone, those who have gone to the doctor with symptoms or just those sick enough to go to the hospital? Still, a death rate many times what is generally reported is frightening.

Sweden has almost the same population as Denmark and Finland combined.
