It seems to me that it’s the media that’s now screaming and panicking about the economic costs of the lock downs.
Hmmm. Flubros are too. MSM much?
What I think makes sense is:
1. We retract the millions of $$ going to NPR and Kennedy Center.
2. Use that money for the blood test identifying those who have had WuFlu, and recovered from WuFlu.
3. Those people are “free”, and need to get back to their original jobs ASAP.
4. Each week, repeat #3 for those not back to work. Phase in responsibly to save the economy.
Not knowing how many already have the antibodies, and not letting them work, is like bailing water out of the boat before fixing the leak. Fix the root cause first.
Social distancing only for those identified as high risk.
Screw face masks except for healthcare workers. (I’m making them for clinic workers, but won’t wear one.)
A Mylan plant. Isn’t CEO Joe Manchin’s daughter?
Flubros care about the economy and you say the MSM now care about the economy. Therefore are you saying Flubros=CNN? I think you have logic issues.
There is certainly merit to letting those with immunity go back to work.
Got to get the antibody tests available first.
These are the underlying conditions which NYC lists on their Covid19 daily summary
https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/downloads/pdf/imm/covid-19-daily-data-summary-deaths-04042020-2.pdf
About 70% of Americans have some underlying illness. And that doesn’t include dementia, which all the “flubros” have.

Yes flubro’s = CNN.
Guilt by association.
LOL
I care about the economy. I just don’t see any way the economy doesn’t get hurt. I think going for herd immunity will devastate the economy.
But I do see hope. Short term mitigation strategies, effective treatment for those that do get sick, and preventative strategies including masks and preventative medicines.
That’s how we come out of this with enough confidence to restart the economy.
No government paid model should ever be taken seriously unless the source code has been released and examined by the public who paid for it.
We are making national decisions bases on nothing more than a magic 8 ball.
RELEASE THE SOURCE CODE!!!
Short term mitigation strategies, by definition, kick the can down the road so that the second and third waves, without herd immunity, will be more devastating than they would have been otherwise.
Whoah ... that list of pre-existing disease is sobering.
Thanks for posting. I think.
In theory, flattening the curve is a good idea....but our hospitals are not maxed out at all. The curve is too flat which delays herd immunity.
“””””””’So far, my guesses have been better than Ohios Gov Mike deWhine and Chief Medical OfficerAmy Acton.”””””
Yet they are still all guesses.
Look cute the ER guys some slack. In most institutions the evil nonclinical administrators force them to make decisions in 60 minutes in the name of throughput that creates a culture of air traffic control not medicine. The ER guys are who you want to emergently diagnose immediately bad crap stabilize and transfer to proper level of care
In this looney situation I agree they think every cough and fever is corona. They are taught the think they worst and act on it. But the fact is that only 10-12% of people with these symptoms are Positive on PCR. Where the problem develops is when you get someone saying everything is CoVId and putting that on death certificates based on symptoms not testing
As for some other fearpers who opined that only 0.5% of Ny has has the disease....well thats just a crock of Horse manure. If we believe that 90% are mild then some simple math allows us to project the tru number of cases. Of 10% are tested and positive and 90% dont reach healthcare because of mild disease then we are off by a factor of 10!
The bottom line is there this is not as bad as everyone thinks. We are also learning of treatment and accelerating a lot knowledge. At the bottom of Pandoras box was hope. At the bottom of this crisis in my judgment will be a golden era of virus and critical care learning. I look forward to being a part of it.
That’s where the effective treatment and preventative measures come in.
We’ll need some long term mitigation strategies as well. Testing, antibody testing, Contact tracing, Hot spot lockdowns, eventual vaccines.
Herd immunity is not the only viable strategy.
That thought never occurs to a malignant narcissist.
I haven’t seen much slowing in the acceleration of new cases or deaths. I hope you’re able to say that next week.
I think the current hospital status is the lull before the storm. Hope I’m wrong. Hope HCQ brings the virus to it’s knees and the hospitals are never swamped.
