Update on AzNascarFan’s grandson PAXTON

My wife just sent me an update, He is finally back in his room after 13 hours... Surgery went well and they ended up transplanting the Stomach, small intestines, liver and pancreas and decided to remove his spleen while they were in there. They said the next 36 hours will be critical... I know my wife & daughter won’t relax for much longer than that, since last time he did really good for 2 weeks before he started rejecting. He is not out of the woods by a long shot but this critical first step is finally done and we are left to pray he heals up and does not reject again. Hopefully he is on the pathway to a little more of a normal childhood. They are going to try to get some sleep now and I won’t expect any news until tomorrow sometime.

I have to say once again, Thank you one and all for the outpouring of prayer... we all took comfort in knowing of the huge prayer chain that have been petitioning God with us!
