Why aren’t you applying for one of all those jobs considered ‘essential’?

I started working at the local grocery store last week, in the department that picks & packs online orders. I don't need the money, it was the only way I could figure out to volunteer and help (I'm taking the money, but that's not the real reason).

What motivated me to do it was the fear and anxiety I saw in all the little old ladies and young families quietly padding around the store looking to pick up some essentials

I was in Meijer this week and I think half the shoppers were from Shipt and Instacart (they wear logo shirts).

see, now if I didn’t have COPD, and this wasn’t a respiratory virus, I’d take a job like that for fun and to get out of the house. God love you for being part of the solution. Very well done, you. :)
