The circulation of money is measured by its velocity which is the rate it changes between consumers and producers. The health of an economy is related to this velocity not its accumulation in individual nodes in the network. Foreign nodes also purchase goods from our node or buy our securities (debt) which achieves the same effect of keeping the medium of exchange in active circulation.
