I spent an afternoon with Kenny Baker back in the early 2000s. Looking at him, you would think he was a pretty serious guy but he was delightful. Full of humorous stories from his past.

You identify the thing that makes so many of these country artists so great - they are plain down to earth common Joes. Only their God gifted musical talent distinguishes them from the ordinary man and they never flaunt it. I have not had the pleasure of spending time with the likes of Kenny Baker, but I have been around country music artists all my life and enjoy their companionship immensely.
