Unless her retirement package that she signed has some return to work clause, I cannot see how they can demand she return to work. Further, how can such a contract be binding when she moved to a different state? And, unless she breaks some law, she cannot go to jail. But if she did break a law relative to her not returning, she still needs a trial.
Most of this sounds like either a misunderstanding or BS.
Not to mention, I’m former active duty US Army.
Have not been called yet by Uncle Sam to report for emergency duty in NYC.
RN’s (agency and others) are going to NYC and making over 90 dollars per hour. That is a fact. The don’t need to threaten a retired MD nurse with arrest if she does not show up.
We could negotiate this. Delete this concurrently with kicking out every flubro who cares so little they have no about page. Deal?
As terrible as it is this illness guarantees Trumps re-election. The country will not change leaders during a crisis.
You are so full of crap you make San Francisco smell like a rose garden by comparison.
I’ll take message board bullshit for 1000, Alex.
A friend told me he heard of a guy who met a knockout blonde in a bar and she took him back to her hotel room. The next thing he remembered was waking up in the bathtub that was full of ice with “CALL 911 ONE OF YOUR KIDNEYS HAS BEEN REMOVED” written in lipstick on the mirror.
Yeah this sounds like those IRS calls to pay up or you’ll be arrested.
With the usual peripheral bs that sounds straight from Alex Jones, such as:
Escaped bioweapon
Captain Trips
and others...
“Were you given this report on April 1st?...”
LOL
Okay, we’ll know soon enough.
"Thank you, Simone."
A friend told me same story, except the hot chick wrote on the mirror, “welcome to the world of AIDS.”
BTW, this was a common urban legend during the early years of the HIV epidemic.
Why is hard for you to understand that China’s wet markets are disgusting soup bowls for new respiratory viruses? The 57 and 68 flu pandemics arose from there as well as SARS in 2003.
Thank you.
If she used to live in Glen Burnie, MD, best bet is she was recalled to Baltimore. But Baltimore would not be getting “overflow from NYC”. And Maryland has had a total of < 40 deaths. So unless they are all in one ER, the hospital would not be “overflowing with bodies.” This sounds like a hoax or an addle-brained retiree getting confused and hyperbolic.
Oh yeah?
They sell horseshoe bats at that market?
I invite you to watch.
Good post. NYC to Baltimore is a long ambulance ride, and Philly is much closer and not that busy yet.
