Maybe. Maybe not. That’s why cause of death is supposed to be determined by autopsy

We aren't going to autopsy every single person that dies; we don't do that normally, so why do it for the Wuhan virus?
<>br /If someone comes into the hospital with symptoms of the virus, and later tests positive, if they die it will be assumed to be from the virus. Underlying issues may have contributed, but none of them caused the person to go to the hospital, now. It was the virus that drove them there, and that's what'll most likely be issued as the cause of death.

I didn’t say we would. I just said laying the cause of death without an autopsy is in fact a false data point

When the CDC wanted to banish tobacco all of a sudden deaths were attributed to smoking to “prove” how bad smoking was

I’m just saying statistics are notoriously a rigged game
