I hear that! I don’t even get the trash can from the curb for 2 days.
Our trash collection uses a pair of giant pinchers to lift the canby the sides and dump it in the truck.
No human contact at all.
I always use gloves to grab the handle and bring the can back. It IS a garbage can after all.
