They all - the media critics of the drug - pretend that the doctors who might consider using the drug know nothing about the side effects and nothing about the possible side effects for patients with certain conditions. They act as if the doctors are immoral and cannot and do not weigh those considerations, and certainly don’t let their patients know about them. The media reporter-critics on this issue are the immoral ones.
Uh. Thats why its a prescription and NOT OTC.
You know, just about EVERY drug will have bad effects against SOMEONE somewhere. Any wonder over have of a drug commercial on TV consists of warnings. this is more handwringing and crap to put down this treatment method.
Every drug has dangerous side effects for some. So?
The media has been digging for things like this. They will gladly let people die just so they can criticize Trump.
It was ok for the Africans and other 3rd world people fro the last 6 or 7 decades, but not us. We can’t except any risk. I say racist!
Aspirin has side effects too! Danger danger Aaaiieeeee! Run for the hills!
Most side affects gotten from taking medications are usually based on how long one is taking them. Long term therapy produces most side affects.
With the use of the Choloquins they are only taken for short term therapy - suggested 5 day regimen. Odds of getting most of the side affects possible are slim to none.
Talk about halve truths being worse than lies — this is an example.

Can you imagine what nonsense this fool would fund?
I spent two days on the phone helping a friend get their printer installed on her network talking to her Win 10 laptop.
Apparently the problem has been there for 10 years and they still refuse to fix it.
The article pointing to self awareness by use of a device such as the Kardia 6L.
That would be a good investment for all. I just bought one last week. Got it Thursday and found My heart rate and rhythm were normal. All well and good, I had worked pretty hard that day. Friday morning it said I had possible atrial fibrillation and my heart rate according to the Kardia was really high. Nearly twice what my Fitbit showed. I felt fine and pretty much ignored it, though took my wifes reading a few times which showed her as normal. Went to give blood later that day and while they measured good blood pressure and heart rate at 65, low hematocrit level prevented me from donating, meanwhile Kardia kept showing heart rate 120+ and possible afib. Sunday morning finally I gave in and called the Doctor, restarted an old medication to slow my Kardia measured heart rate from over 150 to below 110, Doctor said if it didnt slow to go to ER. I was feeling fine all this time. Drug worked, slowed things down but still showed afib. Monday got a real EKG which confirmed I was in afib, referred to cardiologist who added some meds and set up echocardiogram for tomorrow.
Maybe the time to invest in AliveCor. Lots of product to be sold.
Z pack (Azithromycin ) is very rough if you use any kind of inhaler for asthma or COPD.
I know this from personal experience - I took it for an unrelated infection years ago and it felt like my heart was pounding out of my chest (I am in my 60’s).
I highly recommend people use Drugs.com
register with an extra non personal email address
enter your medications and conditions
THEN add hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin as “Drugs you are researching”
and look at the interactions / contraindications.
Save that interactions / contraindications page as PDF/ print it so you can show it to a Doctor if, God forbid, they need to treat you for Wuhan Flu.
/not a doctor,
/didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn.
Gee.
Wowsers.
Something nearly every prior military poster has pointed out for the past couple of months now has its own thread.
