I mentioned earlier that a friend's daughter paid $.829 per gallon at a local Kroger store yesterday.

Our Michigan state gas tax is $.26 per gal and the fed tax is 18.4 cents per gal. That's 44 cents in taxes per gal putting the actual cost of the gas at about 38 cents per gal.......Incredible

I grew up in the oil patch.

From here we see a somewhat different picture, as you can imagine.

Thousands of jobs lost in a couple months, tens of thousands of auxilary jobs in the next few.

That’s oil. But it is uneasy-making to see China, Russia and the Sauds in league against us all at once.

And the nation going to pieces because of it.
