As the beleaguered Zaandam and Rotterdam cruise ships steam toward Port Everglades, more than 1,200 passengers on board still dont know what will happen to them when they arrive early Thursday.
Both ships are on the Port Everglades docking schedule for Thursday at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Broward Health confirmed to the Miami Herald that critically ill patients will be transferred to the hospital system.
DeSantis alluded to a third ship on its way to Florida, the Coral Princess, which is expected to arrive to Port Everglades Saturday with flu-like cases on board. All 1,024 passengers are confined to their cabins as of Tuesday.

I followed the Zaandam docking on Fox News and simultaneously on cruise tracker and tracker was on the money, and up to the minute coveage. -Tom
It was not my intention to lay out a comprehensive plan to handle the circling cruise ships, only to suggest that there are humane and practical alternatives to leaving them and their passengers to the mercy of the sea. I would reconsider my suggestions of course if any of those circling ships were carrying Al Queda or Quods Force members on their spring cruise. If so, Guantanamo and its waterboards beckon.
