Anyone over 70 (60?) who dies, died of the Xi Jinping Chinese Communist Party Flu. There’s money in that cause of death, vs. he was 85 and his time had come.
Similarly, no one who dies in China died of that, because if you say it was that cause, you get a bullet or similar.
I’m hoping one of my favorite composers will make it through this viral moment; Phillip Glass; a Minimalist/Classic composer. Koyaanisqasti may be one of his better known pieces. That was from 1983.
Phillip is now 83 y/o.
He is an acquired taste. Either you love most of his work, or you can barely tolerate it.
