(D)ommunists and their enemedia toadies have been giving handjobs and classified material to the ChiComs since the '30s.

Their treason having continued unabated in the interim, and even ratcheting up during this biofustercluck, should come as no surprise.
The most (sadly) surprising thing is that we haven't seen thousands of them hanging from trees in payment for their perfidy.

A sane republic would protect itself not only from its external enemies, but from those within the gates as well.
We are, apparently, no longer sufficiently sane.
