I agree. His relationship with Roger Stone has me puzzled. I suppose it’s possible that Roger Stone was tasked by POTUS to befriend Alex Jones as sort of a double agent. Also possible that Roger Stone is not what he seems and like Manafort has divided loyalties.

FWIW, the FBI vault listed a file on Roger Stone. It seems the FBI started collecting smear information on Stone a long time ago. Thick file full of insinuation, as far as I recall, that made me think the DS thought he was a threat and would use all they collected against him in time.
I’m sure Roger Stone knows where a lot of bodies are buried. BTW, his relationship with Trump goes back a long way. He’d been urging him to run for president for years.
