Maybe, but I’d be surprised if there isn’t a certain degree of automation behind the page. In the meantime, “current” info can be found on sites such as this:

The page I cited in my latest post is for quakes ‘near volcanoes’. It seems that Cascade, Idaho doesn’t make their cut.
I remember hearing that the USGS updates their site using a telegraph key. In this day and age, it is mostly old geezers who know Morse code. Maybe he croaked.
