I’m with you. Just because this is happening now doesn’t mean it didn’t happen in the past. During WW2 our economy wasn’t much different from Stalin’s. Every company did what they were told and no company was allowed to get rich off the war effort.
...and then the war ended, and so did nearly all of the central control.
