Yikes...poor Recovery/Death ratio!
And 15x more the total death + recovery rates that are still being worked...
I suspect the death rates are skewed again, just like with Italy. An acquaintance of our family passed away on March 15. He was in his mid-70’s, had severe COPD (pretty much bedridden & on oxygen), and was in and out of hospitals over the last few months. Last round, he was sent home around 3/12 and then “took a turn”, went back to the ER on the 14th and died the next day. If he tests ‘positive’ for the presence of the virus, that will be his “Cause of Death”. Bat gazpacho flu may have contributed, but Joe was not in good shape at all the last couple of YEARS.
My own opinion is that there is a hell of lot of that going on with many of the old folks that are passing away the last two months.
