It’s not nearly that bad.
And Rhona Mitra was the best thing about the show.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

And Rhona Mitra was the best thing about the show. Except for her damn hair do. I HATE that fashion of a string of hair hanging down each side of the face. Constantly getting in the face. Just plain annoying. And distracting. If women can't listen with their ears, the least they could do is push their hair behind them, LOL.
I thought it was a decent series the first season, then it went astray and I lost interest.

Did TLS ever say where the virus started?
Ok, a quick Google search says, yes.
“n the premiere, airing on June 22 2014, it’s revealed that the virus started in Egypt but has been transformed, and how that happened is a mystery. “Has it been weaponized, or was it just an accident?””
Same question applies, I think - regardless of the origin.

A few years ago a friend stationed at Fort Leonard Wood was giving me a tour of the place. Said friend was part of R and D there.
"When the zombie apocalypse happens it will either start here or stop because of what's here."
I thought he was just joking but he said that he wasn't.
I didn't ask further about it.

I thought that was a great series that actually ended with a good ending........

Good series; too bad it was so short a run.

There was a 2007 mini series on the Hallmark Channel called “Pandemic” that seems to have some similarities (but that virus was a lot more deadly than the one we’re currently dealing with).

It’s currently available for free on YouTube.

Yes, I have indeed thought of that series once or twice since this whole ordeal started. I really enjoyed it, except for season 3. They could have skipped that one entirely.

I was thinking of "The Hot Zone", with the Congressional Democrats as the screeching, diseased monkeys that need to be put down.

It was on for 5 seasons.. I think it should have been 3. At most 4.

I’m gonna start the rewatch tonight, and as a USN sailor, season 1 and 2 were the best

I really enjoyed it, except for season 3. They could have skipped that one entirely. I meant Season 4, the one with Peter Weller playing the weird, hallucinating old hippie villain. That season sucked.
