Do only famous people get this disease? The media seems to have non-stop articles about movie stars, politicians and athletes who have got this.
All the cool kids are getting it.
And journalists. Sadly one of the CBS employees out on medical leave from battling cancer for 20 years succumbed. CBS never mentioned her immune system was compromised.
They have to mingle with every caste to get their paycheck. It may be the first time First World problems have truly intersected with Third World problems...
I think the point is that _anyone_ can get it. But yeah, it’s getting to where having it has a certain weird chic about it depending on who you are.

Only famous people famously get it. Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita got it. They’re fine now.The virus itself was apparently a non-event for them. As it is with most people who test positive.

Only famous and connected people get tested before they are really sick, early in the course of the disease.
Everyone else runs a gauntlet of symptom analysis which puts off the test until late in the course of the infection. In other words, you have to convince someone you're pretty sick.
On the other hand, if you're well connected, you can get a precautionary test early.

Apparently so. I contacted several news outlets to tell them my nephew has it but they weren’t interested.....
