I don’t see any constitutional rights being violated around here. People are driving up and down the highway just as much or more than as before. The national paid spring vacation is in full swing including groups of motorcyclers cruising down the highway having a good time.
Some business are restricted. They are having a bad time I know. Others are going right along. Mail order is doing just about the same as before it seems. I just placed two big orders for parts and they are packed and on their way.
Asking people to use common sense to protect themselves and others is destroying constitutional rights? Good thing these people were not around during the war or the polio epidemic or even measles when you were made to go home and stay there with a quarantine sign on your house.
oh really....so this is just a little bump and who cares....
geez...
have you driven down the street lately?...almost all businesses and stores dark and shut down...
this is not a little bump in the road....this is a catastrophe...
I say that those who welcome this catastrophe are sitting safe in their castles and govt pensions and really could care less about the little people...
why didn't they do that this time around?....quarantine the sickly and the elderly in their homes because they are the ones needing protection?....
I see the same. Most of us are getting along with each other as usual without complaining about the restrictions in the more conservative states. The restrictions are mutually agreed. I have neighbors who were quarantined and tested. They’re not complaining, even though they’re young.
I’m also sorry for those who’ve lost revenues as a result of the epidemic. We’ll see some changes in business, production and social interests as a result of the lessons from it. Hopefully, we’ll do better afterwards. Because of economic globalization, a future epidemic could be far worse.
Asking people to use common sense is not destroying our constitutional rights, no.
Closing gun stores for public safety is. Legally disallowing people to work under threat of fine or prison is. Arresting pastors who conduct worship services and threatening to permanently shut churches and synagogues that continue to meet is. Forbidding is to have weddings, funerals, or meetings in general is.
There is no simple ask in most of our states now. And Id even argue that simply asking me not to worship God or defend myself is an offense of the state against our constitutional liberties.
Oh, so you just want delivery drivers to get sick. Selfish twerp. Feel free to cower in your home but don’t tell me what to do.
And shove your crocodile tears for businesses having a tough time.
