Ive said from the beginning that if people stop doing business, governments stop receiving tax money. That is the big one for me. And a lot of Seattle restaurants closed their doors forever a month ago when that nursing home got hit. The fact is that the longer this goes, the more the economy (world) shrinks. And this is not good for an economic model based on growth. But make of it what you will. Look at it this way...IF the world contracts at the same time who is in the best position right now to bounce back strong? That's right...THIS nation....
Your mention of Seattle also brought up another positive...what areas are getting hardest hit by the virus? That's right..liberal enclaves.

Your mention of Seattle also brought up another positive...what areas are getting hardest hit by the virus? That's right..liberal enclaves. So far. But right now, the virus has been detected in two-thirds of the counties in the US, and the ones where it hasn't been detected tend to be more rural, poorer, and have an older population, none of which bode well for their ability to cope when it does hit. And it WILL hit.
