Unless the person was smoking a cigarette when crossing the tracks, in which case, this would be a smoking related death.
Just as an aside, the flu numbers are all estimated based on the death certificates at the end of a year. Pneumonia, Respiratory failure, some heart attacks and organ failure. Flu is not a reportable disease.
